Barnack Parish Council

The village action plan outlines the intended activity for the village over the next few years.

Projects that are currently in progress or under consideration are:

Community Shop ** Now Open **

Great news - the Millstone Inn opened its new Cafe and Shop on Sunday 13th December. Pop along to buy staples, stamps and local produce. Perhaps indulge in a slice of a cake or a light lunch.

MUGA - *breaking news*

Barnack School are moving forward with plans for a MUGA and planning permission has now been obtained. The MUGA should be built over winter 2021/22.

Discussions are also taking place relating to the management of the MUGA once it is installed, to ensure the site is used responsibly.

Once built, the local community, including all the villages in Barnack Ward, will be able to book to use the facility outside of school hours i.e. from about 4.30pm on school days, every weekend and all day during the school holidays.

Traffic Calming

VAS signs are now installed along the B1443.

Other plans with Highways are ongoing - please speak to a member of the parish council for an update.
