The Barnack and District branch has approximately 65 members and meets about 6 times a year. our aim is to raise money in a social and enjoyable way, in order to help those who have served their country and are now suffering hardship;  this help extends to war widows (and widowers) and their dependants.

There are two grades of membership, ordinary and associate.  Anyone may join as an associate member, whereas ordinary members are required to have served in the armed forces or associate services.  Both grades of membership currently cost £7.50 a year.  Our varied meetings and social events usually take place at the Millstone, although we also arrange lectures, suppers, visits to service establishments and local places of general interest.  We also, of course, play a leading role in the parishes on Remembrance Day.
